Prescribing Information Adapalene/Benzoyl Peroxide 0.1% / 2.5% Gel

Cutaneous treatment of acne vulgaris when comedones, papules and pustules are present in adults, adolescents and children aged 9 years and over. A thin film should be applied topically to the entire acne affected areas once a day, on clean and dry skin, avoiding the eyes and lips. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients; pregnant; women planning a pregnancy; on damaged skin and wash immediately with warm water if product enters the eyes or mucous membranes. Excessive exposure to sunlight or UV lamps should be avoided. Cross reactions with coloured material may result in bleaching and discoloration. Common side effects include skin irritation local dermatitis and skin burning or exfoliation. Frequency not known serious side effects include anaphylaxis.
